Molybdenum is a common additive to motor oils. Molybdenum is a chemical element with the symbol Mo; motor oils which contain Molybdemun or a compound of it usually carry the sign Mo or have something like "Mo" in their name, like "LiquiMOly". Mo works as a lubricant and reduces friction, and can take high temperatures.
