What is a good price for a clutch replacement on a 2012 Mustang V6 with 45,200 miles? Ford is charging me almost $3,000 Max, $2,200 Min?

Your Mustang is not out of warranty, so the is absolutely no reason you to have them perform such a repair. Find a reputable and highly rated independent automotive center to perform the clutch replacement for you. If you do you will save hundreds. Use yelp.com to find an auto center near you.

Should be under warranty, how did you trash a clutch so soon? I put over 300,000 miles on my pickup and never replaced the clutch. Trade it in for an automatic.

It would be wise to get quotations from clutch replacement specialists. A main dealer will always charge an arm and a leg.

Get someone other than Ford to do it.

Dealers always charge top dollar for parts and labour.

I'd get a second AND a third estimate..... That's HUGE !!!! OR, do it yourself - Isn't that big of a deal.....
