im not a fan of sausage but every time I go to hotels, the biscuits and gravy is all I get. The sausage is cut up so small, and the gravy is just delicious. I want to know how to make it!

    I know what you're talking about but I don't care for it so I don't make it. I wish I could give you a tried and true recipe but since I can't the best I can do is suggest you Google 'southern biscuits and gravy recipe' you'll get a boat load of hits but the photos should help you pick one or two that look like what you're looking for. If you have a particular hotel you can google them to see if their recipe is online as well. Good luck and sorry I couldn't be of more help.

    Brown 1lb breakfast sausage well while breaking up with a fork to desired consistency. Remove sausage from the pan. Stir 2 tablespoons of flour into the sausage drippings (if there isn t 2 tablespoons of fat left in the pan add enough oil or butter to make up the difference), cook the flour and fat for a couple minutes. Add 2 cups of warm milk slowly while whisking, bring to a full boil and then add the sausage, turn down the heat to warm. Taste and add salt and plenty of fresh ground black pepper. You can add some cayenne for more heat if you like.

    Crumble your sausage when you cook it, and use the grease to make a gravy. I like bacon gravy more than sausage though
