Is it possible that a natural predator of humans will evolve one day?
Humans evolved originally in the dangerous open African savanna. There were and there still are all sorts of dangerous predators there. In order to survive, humans had to adapt. One of the earliest adaptations is group living. Humans lived in social groups. we still do, although we are not as tightly bonded as we were. We now have our own residences, even though we used to live in the same caves or similar dwellings as a group. We also evolved to walk upright and have wider peripheral vision than apes to look out for danger. Walking upright also allowed us to use our hands to carry sticks to fight off predators. African living in rural areas still carry sticks to defend themselves against lions. The Masai warriors use spears and shields to kill lions.
The larger species of crocodiles are very dangerous to humans, mainly because of their ability to strike before the person can react. The saltwater crocodile and Nile crocodile are the most dangerous, killing hundreds of people each year in parts of Southeast Asia and Africa. The mugger crocodile and American crocodile are also dangerous to humans.
Its already here, you just dont consider it a predator. Bacteria will some day kill us all.
Not only is it possible but it should have happened millions of years ago. The fact that it has not gives credence to intelligent design or creation theories
Well, yeah, Lions. Tigers. I think we already have a few.
Not unless we get dumber.
